Nine Months Seemed Like Such a Long Time...

You'd think that nine months would be more than enough time to prepare for a baby... But here I am, creeping up on month 7, and my task list still seems pretty long. It's a bit crazy what us pregnant women try to accomplish...

Cope with a 3-month "illness," become experts on child development and the production of life, attend birth classes, go to doctors appointments, figure out your entire medical insurance policy while trying not to be hormonal with the customer service reps., research every baby product that was ever made, read 3-6 books, deep clean your entire house (twice), reorganize your entire house, redecorate a room... and let's not forget about growing a human being inside of you.

Today I checked one more thing off my list. Just finished registering online at Target.com.

Man the time flies. It becomes quite evident why God's plan included that many months, doesn't it? :) And then once she gets here, it doesn't slow down one bit! Enjoy these last moments with just the two of you!

IT will all be fine. And, the things that don't get done before will either not really need to happen or will happen after she''s here. It all turns out just perfect either way.

Elaine, in my eyes you have met every challenge with success, and I am convinced you ARE the mother God wants you to be!

By the way,did you know that Daphne means Lady of Victory? Victory in our lives is by the Grace of God---Daphne Grace---a great name for a great child.

I am very proud of you. Love,..Mom
