Snowshoeing at Lassen

I went snowshoeing for the first time this Saturday! Holly, Shelby, Sarah, me (and baby) all hopped in the car this morning and took the short drive to Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Here we are all geared up. The park offers free guided tours all winter long. For a dollar donation, you get to borrow a pair of snowshoes, learn all about nature and winter-time survival.

We learned about lichens...

And then some of us wore the lichens.

Sarah looking cute with her short bangs.

And me looking pregnant.

Here's the snowman we hijacked for our picture- and then almost knocked over on accident.

you're adorable!! :-)

I did get your message the other day, by the way - my phone didn't ring... Lance's parents are here for the week, and I'm still not too motivated, but feel free to come by any time! Have been hoping we can all get together for coffee and fun conversations again soon.

Looks like you're feeling good!

Looks like you had too much fun Elaine. Don't you know that's not allowed when you're pregnant?? :) You're on my blogroll girl, so you better not dissapoint.

You are an amazing pregnant person! I'm so impressed. Really, I am going to pray you have twins next time. Obviously, you're good at this!
